Tom,

Here whtt I have sent to your consultant. Hope this is all right !

Regards,

Gaetan

Dear Sir,

I am contacted by Mr. Tom Frankle (SSI) to get in touch with you concerning our experience with SSI diffusers.

We have used SSI diffusers with success on a few of our SBR projects, namely the Hartley Foods project in England a couple year ago, the GSI project and the Nancun project in China. Incidentally, we will also be using SSI diffusers on the Joyceville project just awarded (Federal Jail in  Ontario, Canada).

We have also successfully replaced the Sanitaire membranes on tow projects in Quebec Canada, namely for the City of St.Hyacinthe and for the Agropur project (industrial)

All these SBR plants are around6 to 8 m deep and we had no mechanical problems whatsoever with the fine bubble diffusers. Although we have not actually test for oxygen transfer rate in situ, the system seems to delivered the expected performance as we have no problems in meeting the treatment performance.

Hartley project; 2 SBR reactor 20m dia X 8 m deep (Forzen vegetables)

GSI pilot plant; 1 SBR 3.66 m dia X 8 m  deep (Leachate)

Nancun project; 4 SBR 25 mX 40 m X 6 m deep (municipal and industrial estate)

Would u require any additional information, feel free to contact me directly either by email or phone.

Sincerely,
Gaetan Desjardins, President
