Utilizing the latest versions of our own proprietary software and specialized biological process simulation software, SSI  is able to offer valuable client-specific process advice. SSI proprietary software incorporates independent oxygen transfer test data from multiple tests, and applies industry accepted- empirically generated coefficients to normalize efficiency to specific water depths and densities. (As a double check we have run tests at a variety of water depths and densities as well).

Our powerful wastewater design software enables us to advise clients about relative sizes of anoxic and aerobic zones and to accurately lay out tapered aeration diffuser quantities in a BNR/extended aeration plant. We also cooperate with manufacturers of mechanical mixers and flow boosters to optimize spacing between diffusers and flow boosters to avoid short circuiting and to minimize reductions in efficiency due to horizontal channel velocity.

Wastewater Full Service CAD Department

SSI has a substantial drafting department with a very high level of competency. We provide 3-D drawings to our clients in addition to the typical 2-D plan and section views. Clients with frequent work may request direct access to SSI's drafting department for the fastest turnaround. Generally we are providing design assistance to clients purchasing either complete systems or just diffuser components from us.

Self Service Automated Design Software

SSI proprietary drafting software which has automated the task of producing "for bid" 2-D plan and section, scope of supply, and calculations such as SOTE, piping system headloss, and heat transfer calculations through the piping system is available for download and online on this web site.
