WWTP Fixed Grid Aeration Systems

Fixed grid systems are anchored to the floor, or in some cases, to the wall. They are comprised of fine or coarse bubble diffusers mounted on a plastic piping system which is anchored to the concrete tank floor.

Fixed grid systems are engineered to perform based on site specific conditions, including temperature resistance of the materials, expansion and contraction, buoyancy and seismic forces.

A variety of support stands and expansion joint options are used depending on the project. The vast majority of installed aeration systems throughout the world are the fixed grid type.
