QUICK CONNECT SADDLE INSTALLATION GUIDE
The Quick Connect Saddle is designed to mount onto pipe with an outside
diameter of 114mm (4" US), 110mm, 90mm or 88.9mm (3" US).
1) The 4" (114/110mm) Saddle comes in 3 pieces - male and female semi-circular parts surround the pipe outside diameter. Each piece has an integral flange, onto which a wedge is attached with a rubber mallet. The saddle should be installed directly over the orifice which has been drilled into the top center line of the header pipe. Proceed to step 3.
2) The 3" (90mm/88.9mm) Saddle comes in 2 pieces - a top and bottom section. Install the top section directly over the orifice hole and first using your hands then a rubber mallet, slide & secure the bottom and top sections together. Then proceed to step 3.
3) Once the saddle is in place, hold the disc diffuser in two hands, and mate the bayonet fitting on the bottom side of the diffuser to the saddle. Once inside the saddle fitting, rotate the diffuser ¼ turn to lock it into place.
